Last year, Country & Town House launched the inaugural Future Icons Awards to spotlight the bold thinkers and responsible brands leading the way to a better, more hopeful future.

We created these awards to recognise those rare businesses and individuals whose commitment to sustainability, discernment, craft, and care for people and planet sets a new benchmark for what true luxury can – and should – be. These are the changemakers who are rewriting the rules, pushing boundaries, and proving that ethics and excellence can go hand in hand.

Together with sustainability consultants Cyd Connects, we assembled a cross-disciplinary judging panel of experts, including designers, strategists, activists and entrepreneurs. Each entry was reviewed against rigorous criteria and supporting evidence, with transparency and credibility at the heart of the process. The result? Hundreds of applications that left us joyful and energised. From pioneering material innovation to regenerative farming practices, inclusive supply chains and grassroots impact, the quality of thinking and doing was incredible.

It was a joy to celebrate our winners – visionary brands and charities working across fashion, beauty, travel, food, interiors, philanthropy and beyond. But the awards are about more than a single moment of recognition. Future Icons is building a movement, a growing network of like-minded brands and individuals committed to responsible leadership, creative collaboration and exponential impact.
